About Me:


I would like to earn employment for an ethically responsible organization where my creativity and innovative thinking are both recognized and appreciated as assets.  I would like to work for an organization that values individuals who work there. I am most productive in an environment with minimal supervision as I am quite self-motivated.  


I have three main areas of expertise:  the Entertainment Industry, Complimentary Healing & Spiritual Practices, and Animals, specifically dogs.  Parts of these overlap. 

I have been working in the theatrical industry since I was 16, and have spent most of that time offering customer service and sales for theatrical lighting manufacturers.  I have very long-standing and strong relationships with my customers in which I take great pride.  It has been an honor and a joy nurturing these relationships over the years. 


I also  I spend part of my time as a complimentary Healing Therapies Practitioner at Akasha's Journey.  I am a Reiki Master and Tuniing Fork Therapy Practitioner and Instructor, Advanced Level Integrated Therapy Practitioner, Aromatouch Practitioner, and I am certified in other modalities as well.  I am always seeking to expand my healing and teaching practice. 


I am an ordained Interfaith Minister.


I combine my experience as a Certified Dog Trainer with my love and compassion for dogs and offer training, healing therapies, pet ministry, grief counseling, and other things at Om My Doggie. 

I  am a volunteer for the American Bouvier Rescue League, and at one time I was the NY State Rescue Coordinator where I was responsible for intake, adoption, and education of all the Bouvier desFlandres dogs who came through New York.  

My dog & I are an Animal Assisted Therapy Team.

   

I am driven by love and compassion for all sentient beings.  I try my best every day to bring this energy to all I come into contact with.  I must work in an occupation and for an organization that I enjoy because the  customers and my co-workers become my extended family.  I have developed strong customer relations with my entertainment-industry dealers over the last 20 years and I like to believe that we have a mutual respect and concern for one another.  I am a very strong customer advocate!  I am an advocate for those who need a stronger voice and that spills into the philanthropic work that I choose to become involved with.  I enjoy learning immensely and am always teaching or taking  classes.  I have strong interpersonal skills.  I am dependable, honest,  and diligent.    I have exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of self-motivation at all levels of job performance.  I also get along well with co-workers, supervisors, and my peers.

23 years of experience in technical theatre.
